Personally, I don't think Bonds deserves half of the vitriol sent his way. He's still a helluva player, enhanced or not. Having said that, part of me still wants him to fall short of Aaron's record.
How do YOU feel about it? |

Noc, I don't want to see Aaron's legacy supplanted by Bonds' anymore than you do.
I'll agree that Bonds gets a lot of bad press that overshadows his accomplishments, but this latest in a long list of egregious behavior exhibited by him will in no way stop the press from ramping up its yearly cycle of attacks upon his character; nor should it. If we are to believe the story; to allegedly ingest something from someone's locker, and then blame the teammate for giving it to him boggles the mind. Bonds is a paradise for puerility. |

I'm guessing the "source" for the story in within MLB offices. I think (and hope they are successful) that MLB does not want to have to go thru the debacle of celebrating a broken record with Bonds.
Bonds still has not signed his contract, seems they are arguing not over money, but that his entourage is no longer welcome in the clubhouse, including his personal trainers. Wouldn't it be great if the Giants now reused to finalize the deal |
