Ah reckon ah'm busy enough now between calvin' season, mowin' hay, balin' the damn stuff, and makin' corn likker. Course GBF gave up on his team, which sucks, cuz now ah gotta find a new guy/gal pfor next year.

I've heard many opinions on radio about how this whole "All-Star Week" is a colossal joke, "It's MEANINGLESS", "It matters LESS THAN THE NFL PRO BOWL...", "So what if a former crackhead hit 28 HRs in the first round of a joke skills competition like HR Derby....he DIDN'T EVEN WIN.",...

I think these cynical hacks are missing the larger point.

Why can't you you just let me ENJOY the fact that a former drug addict THAT WAS WASHED UP just made history in the House that Ruth Built ?

I was TRANSFIXED by that 30 minutes of television last night. And let me say just one more thing about something I heard on sportstalk radio today that offended me like very few things do. I have a LOT of "white guilt" about the "Original Sin of America", which is (slavery).

If you are black, and you're wondering WHY some dribbling, tattooed pot-smoking thug doesn't get the same love from the Drive-by media that a white, heroin-shooting, glass-dick-sucking, tattooed piece of trailer-trash does...I just can't help you. You're a hopeless victim, a permanent resident of Infantville.

The sad truth and the dirty little secret is that true Institutional RACISM exists only in the minds of the race warlords whose existence hinges upon the infantilization of their own people, and the 3% of the the backwards-ass country-****s who, no matter what laws or Supreme Court rulings come to pass, will NEVER EVER EVER ACCEPT THE N-WORDS. I could actually say the (oooo) N-WORD, but like I said...I have a lot of "white guilt".

I hear certain black sportstalk show host lament the dearth of African-Americans playing baseball; they seem "offended" by how "brown" or "white" or "yellow" the major leagues seem to be nowa days, to which I say:

"So now we need affirmative-action for BASEBALL?

As soon as we get affirmative-action in Football and Basketball."

And of course, BOTH of the above statements are TOTALLY ABSURD.

I guess my point is, LEAVE JOSH HAMILTON ALONE. If he fails, pile on.

But until he does...just shut the **** up.
