Hmm, looks like it was a doozy. I haven't actually watched one since they started the "This time it counts!!!!11111!1" bull****. Somehow that kind of spoiled it for me.

To have the all star game decide the WS home field is stuuuuuuuuuupid. I refuse to watch the game because of that. The every-other-year setup was fine. Thanks, Bud, for another mess, ya dipwad.

While we're griping

something needs to be done about the HR Derby. The player who hits the most HR's - period - should win. Yes, eliminate the low scorers (incentive to give one's all in the first round and have it stand) - but add the previous scores from each round to the total.

As was noted by others, the incentive is to pace oneself, as long as the most HRs are hit in the final round....stupid.

I hate AS week.
