Interesting... After the great strides he made last year, the two steps back this year have been disappointing, to say the least. I'm doubtful, but hell, it's worth a shot if there's any chance it'll get him back on track.

Wasn't he beaned in the head a short time back? If so, maybe there really is something wrong with the eyes. Or maybe he's a little more wary at the plate now. All I know is there is something definitely wrong. I hope this fixes what ails him.

In the AJC article ? (somewhere I read) it states that his doctor told him his vision might worsen as time went on because of that hit to the cheekbone/socket of his right eye. Didn't help him last night, but nobody hit Sheets so the verdict is still out on whether the lens will help.
