...but, just five more like that and we can tie it up before we lose the one run game...

Hey, that was a two-run shot... we only need two-and-a-half more just like that to tie it.

The next five shots will be solo, Snow...get with the program. `)

sheesh... and I benched Dempy tonight because of his poor record against Atlanta. This isn't the same Atlanta and RD is having a stellar year.

Blah, this season makes me feel empty. I'll enter Arlington next week as an opposing teams' fan. Usually the Rangers are so far behind the Braves that the Ballpark is split 50-50 but this year...? Oohee!

So, Nate Silver over at BP used some sort of sorcery to try and figure out the likelihood of Chip hitting .400. The odds he came up with is that Chip has a 12-13% chance of hitting .400 with enough PAs to qualify for the batting title, and that something in the neighbourhood of .378 is his most likely destination.

I'd take .378. I really, really would.

I'm sure Chipper would too.

2-0 good guys in the bottom of the 6th. Francouer having a great day, including the two-run homer that accounts for the offense.

Out of it, still 2-1. Huddy pitched 6 2/3, gave up one run. We've gone old school and brought Campillo in to relieve in between starts.

The bad news? This is a one-run game on the road.

I CAN'T believe Blanco took that pitch with two strikes on him!!

Looks like we're gonna blow the bases loaded opportunity...

Bases loaded, nobody out, and three straight strikeouts by Norton, Blanco, and Infante waste the hell out of the opportunity.
