We got lucky in the first game. Glavine had the bases loaded in the first inning and both Alou and Delgado hit bullets right at guys. Could have completely changed the trajectory of the game. Glavine settled down after that and retired 17 in a row.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this last night... Did anyone else Joe's ridiculous comment re: Hamels last night? That he's the best lefthander in the NL? How can anyone seriously put Hamels over Santana after a mere quarter of a season?

Joe comes out with a lot of dumb schidt, ah'd rather listen to him than Gant though. Ah mean he advocated that Druw should hit to all fields last year, and this year he's advocating that the clueless hacker should pull the ball more. Said the same thing about KJ last night I think, said he was able to go back to his natural pull style of hitting now that he wasn't leading off. Most of the time, ah have the mute button activated now days, these modern dipsticks just talk to hear themselves talk ah reckon.

Will it bloom this year? Or has the sudden frost disturbed its bed? If it wasn't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college.
