To quantify da Bravos erratic O, I delved into their Home/Road splits & found these amazing disparities (used our 8 primary starters with at least 52+ABs). With the exception of Tex who is actually better on the road, they range from a 58 (Heap) - 181 (Diaz) point drop in BA, a 62 (KJ) - 141 (Diaz) point drop on OBP & a 7 (Sir Swingsalot) - 298 (Diaz) drop in SLG
Here are the full breakouts on the road disparities (BA/OBP/SLG) Yuney (-77 /-99 /-42 ) KJ (-95 /-62 /-210 ) CJ (-112 /-106 /-74 ) TEX (+69 /+56 /+154 ) Heap (-58 /-69 /-127 ) Frenchy (-64 /-100 /-7 ) Kotsay (-108 /-116 /-162 ) Diaz (-181 /-141 /-298 ) Its like they take different bats/attitudes with em on the road. The team as a whole (BA/OBP/SLG) Home 316/385/477 Away 249/316/399

With the exception of Tex...
Well, you know, Teshy is aware that the spotlight is "on" when he heads NE to his future stomping grounds. He strives to put his best bat forward.

Was it last year or the year before when we kicked ass on the road and couldn't beat the Little League team of Sandusky, Ohio at home?

We've had some bad breaks. If we can be sitting at 4 road wins on May 12th, then I feel pretty good going forward.
The weather has been brutal on the road too. Its ridiculous in Pittsburgh today.

15 Men LOB in today's frustrating game 1 shutout loss (8 H, 3 BB & 4 friggin PIT errors, 0 execution) Only 4 runs scored in the first 3 games with PIT before the bats finally came alive in Game 2 (still 22 men LOB)! Losing 3 of 4 after a 6-0 homestand? When does this thing turn itself around? I don't buy the weather thing DRMR, cause its sucked that way before & they still did better than this.

Yeah, game one's line score is infuriating. I have faith though that we're gonna go on a nice run now with the win though.

Thanks, DR3AMER. Hope it's not serious, unless Norton pounds the heck out of the ball and hits .400 the rest of the season like Chipper is trying to do. Lol. Naturally, I really do hope it's not serious.
