On the starting pitching front, things go from bad to worse on Padland. Peavy had a soft toss session cancelled by the team doctors as the elbow soreness persists & it looks like he'll be out longer than 15 days. Young is out indefinitely with multiple fractures of his nasal bone & other facial bones, a small crack in his skull & a deviated septum. So their 1-3 now consists of Maddux, Wolf & Estes which might have been be a good thing 8 years ago, but today...gaah!
