Huh...
And with that game, our bullpen ERA drops below four, to 3.99 (our starters have an ERA of 3.13, giving us an overall staff ERA of 3.46.). Edit: And the difference, which I doubt will surprise anyone, is in the walks. The line against our starters is .229/.294/.353, and the line against our relievers is .223/.325/.353. The starters have walked 49 in 158 1/3 innings, and the relievers have walked 50 in 99 1/3 innings.

Good point. Glavine starts today so it'll be interesting to see how long he can go. We're enough into the season that the starters should be going at least 6-7 innings----unless they're getting hammered. |
