Geez, pfig. Just the threat of being sent to your care and everybody wants to get a hit!

Yeah, we're up by four but that won't stop the Bobble from using three more relievers.

I guess French and Mr. Kotter felt sorry for the Reds. Bring on the Poser.

Nice game, guys. We held 'em to one run. Does this mean we're no longer 0-10 in one run games? Have a good weekend. Thanks for the company, pfig.

Huh...

And with that game, our bullpen ERA drops below four, to 3.99 (our starters have an ERA of 3.13, giving us an overall staff ERA of 3.46.).

Edit: And the difference, which I doubt will surprise anyone, is in the walks. The line against our starters is .229/.294/.353, and the line against our relievers is .223/.325/.353. The starters have walked 49 in 158 1/3 innings, and the relievers have walked 50 in 99 1/3 innings.

The only knock on the starters would be that their innings pitched is too close to the amount of innings the pen has pitched. They have been great while in the game, however.

Good point. Glavine starts today so it'll be interesting to see how long he can go. We're enough into the season that the starters should be going at least 6-7 innings----unless they're getting hammered.
