So tonight we get to look at the centerpiece (so I feel) of the Edgar Renteria trade. It's been a long time since the Braves have had a stud up and coming young pitcher; they might as well start now.

I'm looking forward to seeing if this kid has the poise to quash the nervousness of his ML debut.

And I keep hearing JJ can PITCH, so I want to see that and if his "stuff is as good as advertised.

Greetings, Horsie! Yeah, I'm looking for a complete reversal of Jose Cappelan's debut; that kid was just rattled. I figure as long as JJ sticks to his stuff we should be alright.

That was efficient. He hung a couple pitches that last frame that got clobbered.

He strikes me as a guy that is more effective from the windup rather than the stretch.
