Actually, EternalStallion, they mutually agreed to stop the game in the 7th, we won, I think it was the Bobble and Wedge not the dumbass umps who decided to call it a day. pForecast pfor tomorrow night's game is cloudy with a 30% chance of rain, temps in the high 30's. Hopefully, Chipper will not pull something, I'd be tempted to let Prado or Goatee play in pfact.

Well time to shut this thread down as The stove is getting cool & ST is OVER, time for real baseball! Watched Doggie pitch Friday at the Pet, very smooth, amost wish he was back as well. Let's PLAY BALL!

The Tigers, Reds and Orioles all attempted to trade for Brayan Pena, but the Braves decided to keep him for now as their 25th man.
It's still hard to imagine that they wouldn't let him go for a legitimate prospect. They don't see Pena as a legitimate backup catcher, and while the 26-year-old switch-hitter can play the other corner positions, his bat won't ever make him a starter at one them. If he hadn't been out of options, the Braves almost certainly would have sent him back to Triple-A.
