Who ate his cake and did Have
He soon bombed at Shea

Don't Laugh.

There once was a team they call Mets
who lost the division to Bets
We bet Tom would Choke
still sent him for Broke
He said, Braves want me
I have no Regrets.

who found its one foot in the Grave

I think Tom Glavine is one of my least favorite Braves of all time. Seriously. I hope he signs somewhere else. Just don't do it, JS.

And kept the ones with scavies;
Now most of the staff we'll be ditchin'.

..thought the underlined part was interesting, although it's probably just posturing..

Oakland might consider trading one of their young starters, Dan Haren or Joe Blanton, but the budget-conscious Athletics would ask for a combination of several young players or top prospects, and they might wait another year before making such a move.

Snow, I guess your revelation makes you someone's son of a beach.

hmm...I'm surprised. I 'd prefer Haren, and I think the consensus seems to be that Haren is the better of the two. Why Blanton, Snow?
