..thought the underlined part was interesting, although it's probably just posturing.. Oakland might consider trading one of their young starters, Dan Haren or Joe Blanton, but the budget-conscious Athletics would ask for a combination of several young players or top prospects, and they might wait another year before making such a move. Snow, I guess your revelation makes you someone's son of a beach.

*drools only a bit less at the thought of Haren hmm...I'm surprised. I 'd prefer Haren, and I think the consensus seems to be that Haren is the better of the two. Why Blanton, Snow?
