Default Missing representation:The D-Backs online community

Or rather, the lack of.

Yeah know, at first I thought that maybe it was just Fanhome. That maybe, we hadn't had any Diamondback fans migrate over this way yet. But as I search around the internet, I find that the D-Backs online community is almost non existent. I've found one site where intelligent fans gather(and by intelligent, I mean those that aren't spouting crap like "Durrr, we should have never let Luis Gonzalez go, Stephen Drew SUCKS!").

And it doesn't stop there. Chase Field is half empty half the time. I'd say it's a solid bet that the Mariners have outdrawn the D-Backs this year. And the Mariners are a .500 team that's hovering on the cusp of contention!

I don't get it. Where are the D-Back fans?

This is a team with the 3rd best record in the entire NL(31-23) and not only are they just a half game behind team #2(Dodgers) but they are 2nd in wins to only the Mets. They are fighting neck and neck for the division title in what has been an exciting race so far.

And yet, despite all this, the D-Backs STILL have a few key players struggling. Stephen Drew hasn't gotten it going, neither have Carlos Quentin or the young catching tandem. This team is already one of the best in the league, and it hasn't even realized it's full potential yet.

And just to add on to that, they have plenty of talent in the pipelines. They have perhaps the best prospect in the game today in Justin Upton.

Not only all that, but they have a pretty good GM in Josh Byrnes, who has made some pretty smart moves over the last few years to get the D-Backs where they are today.

This is team, that is very quickly rising to the top of NL crop. This is a team that very soon people will fear.

And yet hardly nobody seems to care.

It's sad really.
