24 Brad May LW Broken Foot

According to the LA Times: Ducks winger Brad May will be out indefinitely as he was put on injured reserve Monday after an MRI exam revealed a broken bone in his right foot.

May was injured on Saturday when he took a shot off his foot near the end of practice, but he played in Sunday's 2-1 shootout loss to San Jose before having the foot examined.

17 Brian Sutherby C

According to the LA Times: Center Brian Sutherby had a setback with his strained groin and could be out of action for an extended period

40 Kent Huskins D Knee

According to the LA Times: After missing the last five games, Kent Huskins tested his bruised right knee and said it had improved greatly over the last two days.

It's Calgary all over again. Ironically, this is how Giguere got his first NHL games.

Looks like Bryzgalov will be taking some time off. Seeing as how he couldn't get up the other day on the ice, some time off would probably be good.

Wall had a very good debut last week. Maybe he could get another game or two under his belt.

You know, I'll never say one or the other goalie should be traded. Earlier in the season, so many were calling for trading JS. They just went on and on how he wasn't the JS of old and Bryz was better.etc, etc,etc.
Look what happened. Lucky we didn't trade JS. We might find ourselves feeling the same about Bryz......

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Anaheim Ducks acquired goalie Sebastien Caron in a multiplayer deal with the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.

The Ducks also got right wing Matt Keith and left wing Chris Durno and sent defenseman Bruno St. Jacques and right wing Pierre Parenteau to the Blackhawks.

All three players acquired by the Ducks will report to the team's AHL affiliate in Portland.

Caron, 26, appeared in one game for Chicago this season, stopping 24 of 25 shots in the Blackhawks' 3-1 victory over St. Louis on Nov. 10. He has played in 91 career NHL games with Pittsburgh and Chicago and has a record of 25-47-12, with four shutouts and a 3.46 goals-against average.

The 23-year-old Keith has played in 24 NHL games in his career, all with Chicago, and has three goals and two assists. Durno, 26, had four goals and one assist in 22 appearances for Norfolk of the AHL this season.

Parenteau, 26, had 15 goals and 13 assists in 28 games for Portland this season. St. Jacques, also 26, had one goal and eight assists in 25 games for Portland.

Looks like Caron is playing in the minors. Since we pulled both the kids, we left the farm teams short. Wall wasn't that bad, he wasn't that good either....we lost to the Canes!
