Schmidt would be a better option than Zito.
Zito can't pitch vs the AL East, and he's overrated. He had a great start to his career, but now he's basically Ted Lilly.
Schmidt would give us a formidable 1-2-3 of Doc-AJ-Schmidt. In a playoff series they would be beasts.
