"Nashville Predators left-wing Scott Hartnell is a strong candidate to get moved before the season's trade deadline, reports the Ottawa Sun.
Hartnell, who has 10 goals and seven assists in 25 games with the Preds this season, turning down a three-year deal last summer and is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, 2007.
The Sun claims the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens and New York Islanders have all called to check on the availability of Hartnell. "

I don't believe this will materialize at all.... Hartnell is finally out of Trotz' doghouse and he's having a great time this year. I believe he'll sign a 2 - 4 year deal with Nashville after the season is over...
