This is great news. Is there any outfield with better arms than Jones, Ichiro and Guillen. I don't understand putting Jones in right rather than left, but perhaps it's due to his having played more in RF and not wanting to add the pressure of again learning a new OF position.
If Vidro is the odd man out, likely means Beltre to hit second and slide Jones into the 7 hole.
