By their second year in the league, the cartoonish Penguin guy was incorperated in their logo:



I agree with you about the Rangers Statue of Liberty Logos -- as much as it pains me being an Islander fan. I also thought their white Jerseys with that logo were sweet, much cooler than our "Pumpkin" third jerseys today.
