I have seen the possibility of Peavy/Linbrink/Gonzales listed in several places.... but I think it is simple specualtion at this point.
"IF" we were to make this deal.... (assuming D_Mat) has already signed...
What should we do next?...
I think we should turn to the Rangers (who need pitching and OF'ers desperately) and offer them a trade for pitching.... I am not sure who we would want to offer them.... but Maybe Peavy and Murphy + a prospect for Texiera....
That would bring back some power to this team...
I fear that Trading Manny and bringing Drew in as a "replacement" means we will be right back in the same doldrums this team was in for most of the
80's .... good enough to step on the field and get their butt beat....
