It Happened Today in:
1911: The Phils beat the Reds 21-5, recording 22 hits and 43 total bases.
1922: The Phils lose a 19-7 game to host St. Louis, who score in every inning but the fifth. Third baseman Goldie Rapp was injured while diving headfirst into the concrete bench in the St. Louis dugout in pursuit of a foul ball.
