The brief headline says he will remain with the organization in some capacity, but it appears he will not coach the team next season. He met with Pacers' officials on Tuesday, when it was apparently decided he should not continue coaching the team. He lost many of his players after continuing to play a half court game when the team was obviously built to run.

SO he will stay w/in the org, but I dont really get why he was fired. Yea you had a bad year but to be honest you guys didnt have the talent to make the playoffs even in the weak East.
Rick is a heck of a coach, yes he can be tough at times and get on players nerves but he is 1 of the best coaches in this league
Pacer fans what are your thoughts on him being canned as coach ?
