Default Pacman's suspension verdict

Pacman gets THE YEAR

From Rotoworld :

Quote:
The NFL has suspended Pacman Jones for the 2007 season under the league's new discipline policy. Bengals receiver Chris Henry will miss eight games.

Jones' repeated problems hurt, but his failure to disclose an arrest from last off-season probably did him in. The length of suspension will allow his pending case in Las Vegas to work itself out. One of the best young defenders in the NFL, Jones will attract plenty of interest if the Titans don't want him when he applies for reinstatement in a year. That's assuming Jones isn't in jail.
Chris Henry gets 8 games

Quote:
The NFL suspended Bengals WR Chris Henry eight regular season games for conduct detrimental to the league.

This was expected, but it's still a blow to the Bengals offense. Henry is ready to be the best third receiver in the league if he keeps his nose clean. He's not worth drafting in most leagues, but pick him off the waiver wire a few weeks early. T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson's stats should improve in the first half with Henry out.
Thank you Roger !!!!

Way to make a statement, you did the right thing. Hopefully other players get the message now, that you will pay for actions if you mess up.

I think both suspensions are on point, anything less than a year for Pacman would have been a joke. And I was plesently surprised to see Henry got 8 games.

Well Done
