Baldelli has an injury habit. Dukes has issues with authority and attitude. BJ Upton is due to be shuffled into the OF as part of his "Super Utility" role by Maddon. Add Young and Crawford and Jonny Gomes to the list and you have five potential OF's.

The Rays need a solid VETERAN reliever -- JMU, the point of baseball is not to collect "Major League Ready" prospects and more prospects. if Gerry and Matt can figure that fact out, maybe they could get something they need on the roster NOW instead of a player PROJECTED to play a role at a certain position sometime in the future.
