Telly to Predators not likely

"The presence of Toronto pro scouts Craig Button and Don Granato in Nashville on Saturday for the Predators --Red Wings' game created speculation that the Leafs were going to move third goaltender Mikael Tellqvist to Opryland.

But with the Preds getting Michael Leighton on waivers from Anaheim yesterday, it appears the Leaf duo's visit had another purpose. Toronto general manager John Ferguson did not intend to have Tellqvist stay this long, hoping to trade him for at least a draft pick."
