According to the Baltimore Sun, the Orioles are close to signing Chad Bradford to a three-year deal.
One of Boston's blunders from last year that hasn't gotten the attention it deserved was the decision to non-tender Bradford. He's a bad risk on a three-year deal given his history of back problems, but he's mighty good at what he does. He gave up just one homer in 62 innings for the Mets last season.

I like Bradford a lot but don't want him back if it's more then 2 years especially with Joe Smith coming up this year or next. Plus it will be good to get the picks after losing the first for signing Alou.
