The Predators welcomed back center Peter Forsberg to the lineup Saturday following a six-game absence because of an "upper body'' injury.
Forsberg picked up an assist on the Predators' second goal, won seven of 14 draws and saw 18:07 ice time in the Predators' 3-2 victory over Dallas.
"Everything felt good,'' said Forsberg, who now has seven points in eight games with Nashville. "I hadn't played in a couple of weeks so the tempo was going to be high for the first couple shifts. Other than that, I thought we played really well.''
He's hopeful the ailment won't be a concern during the Predators' remaining nine games or the postseason.
"I've rested long enough and feel good,'' Forsberg said. "I'm definitely confident I'll be good to go the rest of the way.''
