In what was Pekka Rinne's tenth start since returning from shoulder surgery, Rinne weathered 43 shots for a 3-1 win that put to rest any questions on whether or not the goaltender was back to last year's form.

"I thought Pekka was outstanding," said his Coach Claude Noel. "He made some really big saves for us. I thought he was really the difference and without him I don't think it really would have even been a game."
