Milwaukee Admirals coach Claude Noel doesn't get a vote in the official "player of the game" balloting, but if he did, there is no question who would have earned his favor in Milwaukee's 3-1 victory over San Antonio Sunday at the Bradley Center.

"Pekka (Rinne) was huge," Noel said of his goalie. "I'm behind the bench barking, 'He's saving us.'

"You look at this game and you have to realize we were fortunate to win. Our goalie won us the game and that's the reality of things. We'd be fooling ourselves to say anything different."
