Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Stars exploded with four goals in the second period and rolled to a 6-2 victory over the Milwaukee Admirals in an American Hockey League game Saturday night.

The victory was the eighth in as many games for the Stars against the Admirals this season.

Milwaukee goaltender Karl Goehring held up well in the first period, making 15 saves while counterpart Dan Ellis had eight saves.
