Milwaukee Admirals coach Claude Noel didn't like the way Chris Durno skated his first shift against the Peoria Rivermen, and he told him so.

"He had a poor shift and I told him very gently that if he had any more shifts like that he won't be getting a whole lot of minutes," Noel said.

Message received, big time.

Apparently Noel knows what buttons to push because Durno scored the Admirals' first three goals in their 4-3 victory over the Rivermen on Friday night at the Bradley Center. Durno, who had just seven goals and two assists in 40 games this season, assisted in the winning goal by Sheldon Brookbank as the Admirals held off the feisty Rivermen, who are hot on the Admirals' trail in American Hockey League's West Division.
