Barry Bonds is 22 home runs away from breaking Hank Aaron's record.

I think this significant "achievement" deserves a thread of it's own but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe nobody cares but me.

We astute fans know what's going on. Barroid knows how to mask his performance enhancers. He only slipped once, on amphetamines, and quickly tried to blame the dog, errrrrrrr Mark Sweeney.

Will people be cheering when this happens, when he breaks the record? Will the Commissioner have a huge celebration marking the day?

Will Joe Morgan be constantly defending his good friend Barry, spinning away to tell us it's all right?

This is the first year I feel no interest in the start of the season...
