That piece of crap article today seems to promote the idea that the Rockies could be willing to spend $$$ dollars on a "game changer" in the future. I find that entire article to be a complete load of crap.

True enough there wasn't a difference maker CF this offseason. To even hint that the Rockies would be able/willing or even attempt to sign a player like Hunter, Wells or Jones is pure garbage. Charlie is talking out both sides of his mouth. We can't afford Helton, but we might be able to afford a game changer.

Those guys will cost between 60-110 million. I just think Tracy is total garbage. Why didn't we spend some of this Andruw Jones coin to sign Aaron Miller?

I hope I'm wrong and that this organization really is saving their $ for some future impact All-Star. I certainly won't be holding my breath.
