The only thing I'd ask more from Mike Lowell in 2007 is consistency. He had that dead period around mid-season where it seemed like he wasn't doing a damn thing (July in particular, looking at his stats). His numbers overall were pretty good though. I'd like for him to lower his GIDP's (he had 22 last season), but his slow speed probably makes that a "can't-help" issue at this point.

Lowell is only under contract for 2007. I wonder what the future holds for us at that position?
