Especially in light of what we got for him and what we had to give up with him (and what we gave up to get him.)
The Yankees traded Nick Johnson, Juan Rivera, and Randy Choate to get Vazquez, then a year later, gave him to Arizona with Dioner Navarro and Brad Halsey to get a washed-up Big Unfit. Is RJ really worth Johnson, Rivera, Choate, Navarro, and Halsey?
I wouldn't mind bringing Vazquez back -- and he is George's favorite kind of player to acquire: an ex-Yankee.
