About the 76ers: Philadelphia has lost four games in a row since defeating former teammate Allen Iverson and the Denver Nuggets on Jan. 2 in Denver. One of the losses came in overtime at Minnesota, when Kevin Garnett hit the winning shot at the buzzer with Samuel Dalembert's hand in his face. On Wednesday night in New York, the 76ers trailed the Knicks by 19 at halftime en route to a 106-99 loss. Dalembert had 18 points and Joe Smith 16 for the 76ers. Smith, the former Bucks player traded to Denver for Ruben Patterson, was included as part of the Iverson deal. Smith has started the last five games, and in 10 games with the 76ers has averaged 8.4 points and 5.9 rebounds in 23.2 minutes.
