Trotz praised the scrappy play of forward Jordin Tootoo while suggesting rookie Alexander Radulov might have been a bit overwhelmed by the Ducks.

Radulov played just 1:16 in the third period and finished minus-two with one shot.

Tootoo logged more than half of his 6:20 in the third after a first-period fight landed him a five-minute fighting major.

"They've got to have impact on the game and I thought Toots had some impact," Trotz said. "… Radulov turned too many pucks over against a team you cannot turn pucks over (against).

"I thought he was struggling with a little bit of the speed. On the fourth goal, he didn't hold position and they ended up getting a four-on-three."
