In light of the recent rumor that the Nets are looking to find a big man and have VC15 on technically speaking, an expiring contract, here is an idea.

To New Jersey
-Corey Maggette
-Stromile Swift
-Dahntay Jones
-2007 Memphis 2nd round pick

To Los Angeles
-Vince Carter

To Memphis
-Cuttino Mobley
-2007 Minnessota 1st round pick (lottery protected) via LAC

Why?

The Nets get an athletic big man who really isn't happy in my opinion since having been dealt back to the Grizz. Maggette and Swift fit in the system and give the Nets a chance to compete for the division title but ultimately have better balance once Krstic is healthy for 2007-08.

Moore*/Collins/Illic/Krstic(IR)

The Clippers upgrade the SG position in order to make a push in the WC for a playoff spot and to go deep in reaction to the AI deal. Vince gives them a solid scoring option alongside Brand. I think Vince would want to sign a extension with the Clippers given their direction.

Memphis adds another first round pick while bringing in more outside shooting in Mobley on the perimeter. The Grizz concentrate on selecting a C/PF in the draft and further frontcourt help if Wolves make playoffs.
