Not sure on where Alvarado will end up. In an earlier post (Top 40 Prospect List) VegasjJim mentioned that he was a potential middle order guy. His line for this past summer for the VSL team - .299/.398/.433/.831.

Good possibility that the 19 y/o will go to the new Gulf League team at Jupiter.

Peralta (19 y/o) pitched briefly at Johnson City this summer. He'll be 19 this upcoming season. One of the Cards players that saw him pitch down at Jupiter gives him very high marks.

Mendoza (20 y/o)- Went 6-4 for the VSL team. 2.26 ERA, 75.2 IP, 89 K's, 1.28 WHIP

Rosales (18 y/o)- DSL Pitcher - 4-3, 2.28 ERA, 43.1 IP, 62 K's. He held oppenents to a .146 BA

Arredondo (20 y/o)- DSL Pitcher - 4-1, 1.81 ERA, 49.2 IP, 48 K, OBA - .209

Castro (19 y/o) - caught for DSL. .313/.352/.415/.768

The ages given are the players ages as of April 1, 2007.
