Yes, I was engaging in a little bit of over-statement, calling it the worst staff ever. But not much.
And I'm not as sold on Sherrill as some people are. It seemed to me as though every time he came into a game to get a left-handed hitter out he walked him, but I'm sure that's not the case. I'd still consider him only average at best.
