Zito has had a cumulative losing record over the last 5 seasons, from age 26-30. I like Zito as a person, but he's no better than a third or fourth starter on a team.

Contreras had only one season of mediocre games in 2004, and had been 7-2 with a 3.30 ERA in 2003, his first season. And then he went back on the rocks in 2007.
