Well, so far I'm optimistic too...
We knew this team would have growing pains going in...but at least they'll be more fun to watch than last year. Unfortunately, my relocation from Oakland to the MIdwest means I'll be seeing very few of the games (I have Directv but can't afford the package, or see many games if I did have it anyway) but judging from the box scores and 30-second ESPN recaps, they're the scrappy young A's all over again.
Barton & Suzuki developing nicely offensively, alot of the new faces contributing...and 2 of our starters hurt already
In two years (barring another slew of injuries) this should be a very good team.
