The Bruins can't seem to catch a break with the Canadiens. The Canadiens are to the Bruins what the Yankees used to be to the Red Sox. Let's see if it will be different this season.

If the Bruins goaltenders get hot at the right time, anything is possible. We've seen No. 8 seeds knock off No. 1 seeds many times before in the NHL. Especially in recent years, seeding seems to mean nothing when it comes to first round victories.

Anything short of a Bruins series victory over the Canadiens will keep them in the back pages of the Boston press. With the success of the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics, it's hard for the Bruins to garner much attention. In a way, that's a good thing for the Bruins because if they fall flat, as expected, no one will notice.
