The Angels signed Hillenbrand to a 1 year deal for $6.5 million. Bad contract, in all likelihood, but it's 1 year (option for a 2nd year). It's not a killer.
The Rockies and the Angels were trying to negotiate a deal around the five years and more than $90 million that Helton has remaining on his deal.
Are you really equating the two? You think that's apples to apples? Really?
Or, and I'm just guessing here, is it you who is actually the one trying to make sure that you never miss an opportunity to criticize the Rox, whether they deserve it or not?
