I'd have to agree...he's borderline. There were certainly many other great players who didn't win a championship, but they gave it their all when pressed (the Utah Jazz come to mind). Webber was a certifiable choker (and I don't use that term often) who could put up the points but never carried any of his teams the way they had all hoped.
A very good player in his time, certainly, but not a HOFer. But as a Warriors fan I have to give him credit for burying the hatchet with Nellie, and bowing out before he could hurt the team as the postseason nears.
