Well many of you are probably already with family and friends so I just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone here in my "net" family a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
I also wanted to thank all those that have come to the board and contributed this past offseason. Its so great to see so many familiar names that I haven't seen in a long time. Together we make this a great place to talk about our passion of Cardinals baseball. I look forward to the new year where we will no doubt grow our family larger. Hopefully we'll see more of the familiar names that haven't dropped by yet. Its my hope that we can someday make this into the best place on the web to talk about Cardinals baseball. So thank you to all for getting us off to a great start!
I've been asking Uncle Walt to get me a power bat and a couple of starting pitchers. I hope my wishes come true! I told him it would be OK if he did it between now and the start of spring training
So Merry Christmas everyone. I hope you get some fun presents but don't forget about the true meaning of Christmas! And also, don't forget that the best present of all is the memories you make with your families and friends because those can't be taken away (just like the 2006 World Series Championship!).
