I'm glad it is not worse. I hope he doesn't always have arm problems.
I would love to see him do great.

Jeff Weaver and Kyle Lohse are still available.
Steve Boros has devalued them.
I won't mind the Cards thinking about them,
or even taking a look at Sidney Ponson again.
I have never wanted David Wells on the Cardinals, but now
he would like a chance to do some early season starting.
I don't mind the Cards rejecting or trying any of them.
These guys don't seem to be trying to break the bank, anymore.

I do want our young pitchers to get a real shot.
With Carp, Mulder and Clement out, we could have a rough start.
There is only 1 off day scheduled this April.

It might be much better for the future to go slow.

I'm glad Moe is going patient and not breaking the bank,
or draining the improving farm system. If he holds, I don't mind.
I will want the players that we have to do great.
If he brings in someone else, I will want them to do great.
Watching this play out is very interesting to me.

I always see pitching as the key.
