Gelinas to sit out indefinitely with injured ACL

Predators forward Martin Gelinas is out indefinitely and will learn more about the extent of his injury today, the team said Friday.
Gelinas said he suffered an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee during Thursday's shootout loss to Vancouver. He underwent an MRI exam Friday and will meet with a team doctor today to discuss the results.
"We'll see how it goes, but for sure it's not good news,'' Gelinas said. "It might be a case of finding out whether I can play with it or whether I need surgery.''
