When we got RJ we thought we were getting a Number 1 starter. That is by far from what we got. If anything a nice surprise has been Wang emerging as a Number 1. RJ i think will be an effective 2 or 3 starter as well as Moose.

That's part of a good bluff. You need to be ready to deal with the consequences if someone calls it. The bluff didn't really work because Damon got a huge amount of money so it's safe to say that it didn't lower the price on him.
I'm thinking Randy may be an effective three or four starter. Keep in mind his ERA last year was 5.00. That's fifth starter material. If his name wasn't Randy Johnson and his contract wasn't so big, he would have gotten the boot because he was so bad.
Thank goodness we got Wang. The year before last if he didn't appear we probably don't make the playoffs. And this year he was second in the Cy Young voting. He's been amazing so far. Obviously, I expect it to continue. Hopefully this team can continue to go with young pitchers starting this year. The advent of both Philip Hughes and Tyler Clippard may contribute to that.
