Goehring the key to shootout victory

Rosemont. Ill. - Goaltender Karl Goehring stopped all four shooters he faced in a shootout as the Milwaukee Admirals defeated the Chicago Wolves, 3-2, Saturday night in an American Hockey League game.

Admirals forwards Rich Peverley and Brandon Segal each scored against the Wolves' Fred Brathwaite in the shootout.

"Every time we play these guys its tooth and nail, it makes things exciting," Wolves coach John Anderson said.

Goehring (8-6-2) recorded 35 saves and became just the third goalie to hold Chicago to only two goals in a game this year.

Segal and Peverley also scored in regulation to help snap Chicago's four-game home winning streak.
