Segues, then flies off in a random direction. Bonds didn't gain some advantage between 1998 and 1999 from a league wide lowering of mounds, did he? They last lowered the mound in 1969, in time to benefit Bobby Bonds, not Barry.
And in 2000, Bonds moved to a ballpark which has played as one of the tougher stadiums for homeruns.
